Laser Liposuction Procedures What You Need to Know

Lipotherme laser lipo

Every medical professional will tell you that all weight loss programs have at least one thing in common: the emphasis on exercise and proper dieting. Without consistent exercise and healthy eating habits, no weight loss plan will get you anywhere. There is simply no other way to healthily loose weight. However, sometimes even with diet and exercise, those lumpy pounds are incredibly stubborn to burn off. For this reason, a laser liposuction procedure is a perfect supplement for your weight loss goals.

Liposuction, or lipoplasty, is a medical in which fat deposits are physically removed from the body. As previously stated, liposuction will not work unless it is combined with a vigorous diet and exercise plan in place. If it is in place, however, then liposuction surgery can help remove existing fat deposits in the body. The people who would benefit from lipoplasty surgery the most are those who despite a solid exercise and diet plan are unable to remove unsightly fat deposits in certain parts of the body.

Liposuction was originally an invasive surgical procedure. Technological advances, however, have led to lipotherme laser liposuction procedures. Laser liposuction applies low-intensity lasers to the body without having to perform surgery. The laser is light where it won’t damage the skin but strong enough where it will burn away fat cells embedded in your body. This method of liposuction is increasingly popular due to its non-invasive nature and convenience. Laser liposuction prices also happen to be quite reasonable. By targeting only certain parts of the body and avoiding surgery outright, laser liposuction procedures are a novel way of removing fat cells while keeping your body healthy — and intact!

Along with appropriate diet and exercise, liposuction procedures can help you achieve your body goals. Being overweight brings its complications. With liposuction, however, those complications can burn away.

Three Exercises You Don’t Need Equipment to Do

Hormone replacement therapy fort lauderdale

As you probably already know, exercise is a crucial part of any and all top weighta> loss programs. The only trouble is that it’s kind of cold out right now, which can make it a little bit difficult to get out to the gym as often as family practice physicians recommend.

Luckily, you don’t have to. There are tons of great exercises you can do right at home. Here are just a few to add to your weight loss system.

The Plank.

No, not the weird fad from a few years ago. The exercise plank is one of the best ways to make sure your weight loss system is even, without needed equipment. All you have to do is get in the push-up position, but instead of your putting your weight on your hands with your arms extended, lay on your forearms. Keep your back straight, tighten your core, and hold it for about a minute.

The Squat.

Squats are a must have in any weight loss system’s exercise routine. Stand with yoru feet shoulder-width apart, and squat like you’re to sit down. Once your thighs are parallel to the floor, you can stand back up. This is a great exercise for your weight loss system, as it’s an “easy” way to work your legs and get a bit of cardio in.

The Burpee.

The burpee has been touted as being the ultimate exercise, so why wouldn’t you want it as part of your weight loss system’s routine? To do this full body exercise, drop down on all fours, kick your feet out so you get in a push up position, and then swing your feet back in. Once you’re back to being crouched, jump up. That’s one burpee.

Your weight loss system needs exercise, but it doesn’t need equipment. If you know of any other awesome exercises, feel free to share them in the comments.

Do Blondes Have More Fun? Change Up Your Look to Find Out!

Beauty salons denver

There are many different hair colors out there, both natural and artificial, and people are always looking for new ways to change up their look. Changing your hair is a simple, relatively inexpensive, and not permanent. However, of all of the different looks out there, only 2% of the world’s population is born with naturally blonde hair. However, one in three women will dye their hair a shade of blonde at some point in their lifetime. Is it because blondes have more fun? Maybe.

If you’re looking for a new hair color, looking for hair care tips or new hair care products, or just checking out new hairstyle trends, here are some fun facts about blonde hair to help you along your way to the hair salon.

  1. Hair color is determined by the amount of melanin, or pigmentation is in the hair. There are two types of melanin in hair color: eumelanin and phaeomelanin. the more eumelanin, the darker the hair, and the more phaeomelanin, the redder the hair. Low levels of both of these are characteristic of blonde hair.
  2. There have been some questionable methods of blonde hair dye throughout history. In ancient Rome, they used pigeon dung, in Renaissance Venice: horse urine.
  3. Jean Harlow, Hollywood’s first blonde goddess, dyed her hair with peroxide, household bleach, soap flakes, ammonia, and other hair care products, until her hair finally fell out and she had to wear wigs.
  4. In fairytales, blonde hair often suggests strength, indestructibility, untarnished beauty, youth, and high value. Rapunzel, Rumpelstiltskin, Cinderella, and Goldilocks are well-known stories featuring flaxen-haired heroes.
  5. Blondes actually have more individual strands of hair on their heads than any other color. Blondes have approximately 140,000 hairs, as compared with 108,000 for darker-haired individuals.

The studies are inconclusive as to whether blondes have more fun, but what is true is that changing up your look and trying a new hairstyle can be a lot of fun. Whether it’s just for the night, or for a few weeks, a few months, or the rest of the year, why not try out some new hair care products, a new hairstyle, or even a new hair color? Don’t get bored and boring with the same old look. You may surprise even yourself by how much you like the new change.

Do You Need Surgery to Get Rid of Fibroids?

Uterine fibroid removal

No matter how small it might be, surgery is always intimidating. Most people would prefer to avoid it if at all possible. While the case for some surgeries are black and white, others are not so clear.

Uterine fibroids are benign tumors that grown in the wall of the uterus. Though they’re typically small, asymptomatic growths, they can cause serious problems if they grow too large, or in certain areas. Some of the signs and symptoms of fibroids like these include abdominal pain, pain during intercourse, and menstrual bleeding so heavy it can lead to the development of anemia.

While uterine fibroids surgery is the only proven, effective way to eliminate the problems fibroids cause, there are several other uterine fibroid treatments available, which means that some women who suffer from fibroids may actually be able to avoid surgery.

Here are just a couple of the different, uterine fibroids treatment options available.

Medicinal Treatments.

Certain symptoms of fibroids can actually be managed and maintained with prescriptive treatments. While these medicines cannot eliminate fibroids like uterine fibroids surgery can, they can ease the symptoms. In fact, they can even shrink the fibroids, which is why they’re often prescribed before uterine fibroids surgery.

Minimally Invasive Procedures.

Although uterine fibroid surgery is the most effective way to get rid of the tumors, there are other, minimally invasive, outpatient procedures that can destroy the growths. For example, radiofrequency ablation can eliminate all the fibroids, and just the fibroids using MRI-guided electrodes, which can easily find and eliminate every single tumor. Once the procedure is done, women need only a few days of recovery time at home.

Just because you’re suffering from fibroids does not necessarily mean that you need uterine fibroids surgery. There are many other treatment options, which may work best for you. If you have any questions about uterine fibroids surgery, feel free to ask in the comments.
